As posted, look on ebay or local adds in papers. As well, check out local riding clubs & groups. Having worked in the past at motorcycle dealerships(Canada) Most will have a 10 year old age limit on even accepting motorcycles to be worked on, let alone providing parts for them.
The cost for a dealer to locate parts, and repair the older motorcycles can be costly, and sometimes the owner refuses to pay the amount owed because of the age of the bike.
Specially with electrical problems, as there is no refund for the purchase of electrical parts.
Shouldn’t be a problem at all. I have a 1981 CB750F (owned since new), and anything I need can be ordered by my local dealer. It usually arrives within 3 days. My experience has been that Honda has the best parts availability of the Japanese Big Four.

There are lots of stashes of old honda stuff around. Try a dealer who has been in business a long time. The Vintage japanese Motorcycle club can also give you entree to the many guys who have been hoarding NOS parts for years.
